Abstract: The article reports on the killing of seven U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Four were killed in Anbar Province on September 6, 2007. They were conducting combat operations. Three others were killed in Nineveh Province. These provinces are majority Sunni Arab areas. Information about the fate of the death sentence of General Sultan Hashim Ahmed, Defense Minister in former President Saddam Hussein's government, is also offered.
