El Parque Nacional Viñales: un escenario de interés geológico, paleontológico y biológico en el occidente de Cuba.

The rich biodiversity, landscape and cultural traditions are amongst the best known values in Viñales National Park (Cuba). These are key elements for its establishment as protected area. However, there is also an interesting geodiversity which is more acknowledged in the national and international scientific field than in the local area. Its management, conservation and spreading needs specifics actions in the territorial level. With this study we want to show a first assessment of those areas that could integrate the list of Geological Interesting Points in Viñales National Park, and a set of advices to promote their management.
