The Human Mire: Anger and its Aftermath.

In this paper, I consider liberalism's treatment of injustice and the pursuit of justice -- that is, how liberals understand injury, responses to it and what people seek in the redress of injustice. Ultimately, I will argue that, although the South African reconciliation process was designed to meet the exigencies of a transition from an unjust regime, its attention to narrative and context offer a fuller notion of ordinary justice and suggest processes by which more moral, democratic and just decisions are likely to be reached. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
