A PRELIMINARY LIST OF PATRISTIC AND OTHER AUTHORS CITED IN THE MIDDLE ENGLISH PROSE SERMON: AN INTRODUCTION TO AN ONLINE RESOURCE IN PROGRESS.

The article reports on the introduction of an online research project for the Middle English prose sermons in 162 manuscripts from the late 14th to late 15 centuries. It has two search options which include drop-down menus and advanced search, which offers a general overview of the quotations used in the Middle English sermons and demonstrates the potential for further in-depth study in relatively neglected area. Concept of an online research project is also presented.
