Metaphorical Semeiotic Referents: Dyadic Objects.

The article analyzes the metaphorical account of semeiotic objects by philosopher Charles S. Peirce and the interpretation of dyadic objects. Based on the Peircean conception of the triadic structure of semeiosis, percepts were defined as pre-interpreted objects experienced primarily according to the Category of Secondness. Precepts has three component agencies and these are the immediate object, the incipient immediate object and the dynamic object. Dynamic or dyadic objects are applied in creative metaphors, such as Shakespeare's creative lines "Juliet is the sun" and "Man is the dream of a shadow."
