Trampolines at Home and Playgrounds: A Joint Statement With the Canadian Paediatric Society.

The article presents a study about the injuries sustained by children as a result of the recreational use of trampolines at home and in playgrounds. The study, which includes the incidence, types, and circumstances of injuries, and the disposition of children following the injury, conducted a literature review on trampoline injuries from 1966 to April 2006 using Medline and gathered Canadian injury data from the Public Health Agency of Canada. It also offers recommendations concerning the use of home trampolines by children.
