Using Solar Energy to Convert CO2 into Fuel.

The article reports that a prototype device has been developed by chemists at the University of California in San Diego. This device can capture energy from the sun, convert it to electrical energy and split carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide and oxygen. Since the device is not yet optimized, they still need to input additional energy for the process to work.
