Abstract
- The article focuses on the use of English morris dancing in the play "The Two Noble Kinsmen," by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher, claiming that it serves to incorporate exotic cultural elements such as dark-skinned races, or Moors, with traditional British ones. The history of English morris dancing is explained, as well as its use in Shakespeare's plays, such as its use as a metaphor for male and female power relations.
