Haldor Topsoe Bags Russian Methanol Contract.

The article reports that Haldor Topsøe has been awarded a contract to supply a 450,000-m.t./year methanol plant to JSC Shchekinoazot of Shchekino, Russia. The plant will be built at Shchekino, and Topsøe will provide the license, basic engineering, proprietary equipment, and catalysts. The plant will start up at the end of 2009 and raise total methanol capacity at Shchekino to 600,000 m.t./year.
