Abstract

The article discusses growing crinum bulbs in the garden as a long-lived perennial. The plants are generally happiest in the South, although some varieties survive in zone 6. The plants are not particular about soil and bloom times range from spring to summer. The varieties discussed include Crinum erubescens, C. bulbispermum, and C. procerum 'Splendens.'
