Abstract
- The article presents a reprint of the paper “A Very Ridiculous Story,” by Vladimir Demchenko in the July 2, 2007 issue of the “Izvestia.” It is pointed out that Vyacheslav Zharko’s story about Aleksandr Litvinenko is credible. It is argued that Zharko’s account is consistent with the theory that Litvinenko participated in planning terrorism in the Caucasus. It also renders the theory that Russian security forces assassinated Litvinenko untenable.
