Abstract: This article discusses the large number of Serbian tennis players entered in the U.S. Open Tennis tournament. Three of the top five seeds in the U.S. open are from Serbia, a country without a strong centralized tennis program. Novak Djokovic is seeded third and will play Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic.
