Training Local Workers Instead of Outsourcing.

The article offers information on the demerits of outsourcing labor force by several New York City based business firms. Several business firms including Felix Storch Inc., Gringer & Sons, and Tiffany & Co. receive grants by the New York City Department of Small Business Services for training local workforce. It is stated that offering training to local workforce is benefical over outsourcing workers as it is less expensive and the time consumed in the manufacturing processes is also very less.
