Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, the notion of generalized umbrella rings is introduced. We show that every generalized umbrella ring is a stably coherent ring. As an application, we show that every finitely generated projective module over is free if R is a generalized umbrella ring with weak global dimension two. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
