Abstract
- The article reflects the opinion of the author on the significance of the measurement of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) in the changes on the management of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. The author stressed that the discovery of nonenzygmatic AGEs and its receptors paved the way to new researches in medicine . Meanwhile, the author suggests that measurement of circulating AGEs can be a beneficial tool for discriminating patients with NASH.
