Abstract
- The article examines the ways in which space was actively and consciously being made in the Mesolithic era in Great Britain. It explores how people made themselves at home through objects and considers why most of these objects were not carried by people during the Mesolithic. The article also reveals how material culture and landscape crosses and promotes the understanding of space that is mobile and yielded through force. The author suggests that occupants left things behind in the Mesolithic home culture in order to establish the possibility for future connections, making the objects "homeless."
