Abstract

The article focuses on the federal government regulations that limit the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels passengers can take in their hand luggage on flights into and out of Australia. Passengers are advised to carry a letter from their doctor about their medication needs. Passengers can only take a reasonable amount of non-prescription medications for the duration of the flight. Baby-related items like milk, sterilized water, baby juice and food, and wet wipes are also exempted.
