From Research to Practice: Strategies and examples from NIOSH.

The article focuses on the Research to Practice (r2p) initiative of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in the U.S. The campaign enables NIOSH to transform its research findings, technologies and information to preventive schemes which can be applied in the workplace. R2p likewise integrates the strategic goals of NIOSH to knowledge generation and knowledge transfer and involves the participation of partners and stakeholders throughout the research process. Meanwhile, some examples which illustrate methods of transferring research to practice are presented.
