Abstract

The article discusses a study to estimate adherence to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) and its determinants in HIV-infected persons in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Patients on HAART who attended the HIV outpatient clinics self-reported their pill intake. The association of incomplete adherence with patients' characteristics was examined using multivariate logistic regression.
