Abstract
- The article mentions the calculation of cetane indexes and smoke points for bitumen-based middle distillates and focuses on a set of correlations that estimate cetane numbers and smoke points, which are needed for oil-sand projects in Canada. Two procedures for the calculated cetane index in ASTM D4737 are explained.
