Deliberations on Global Environmental Governance.

The article reports on the 24th Global Ministers of Environment Forum meeting, which addressed the issue of global environmental governance. Protocols, conventions and other such international instruments related to the environment were discussed. The central importance of practices such as assessing the long-, medium and short-term future of the environment, information-sharing and technology transfer was reiterated. Partnership issues between nations were addressed and a strategic plan for improving the implementation of performance was presented. INSET: Strengthening the Environmental Arm of UNEP.
