Abstract

The article presents information about the will of Brooke Astor who is described as New York City's doyenne of philanthropy. According to the will that Astor signed on January 30, 2002, her son Anthony will get the bulk of her fortune. Her daughter-in-law will get a necklace adorned with 367 round diamonds. Her twin grandsons will get $1 million each. Besides, New York City public teachers will get $2 million for foreign trip.
