Abstract
- The article examines the processes of recolonization and recovery of the benthic community at the subtidal areas in Wellington Harbour, New Zealand following a bloom of the toxic dinoflagellate Karenia brevisulcata. The number of species was significantly higher at three of six stations, which the numbers of individuals increased at four of six stations. Furthermore, biological communities became more similar between stations with increasing time after the bloom.
