- The article presents a reflection on the New Testament Gospel of Luke 10: 38-42 for Sunday, July 22, 2007. The gospel passage presents the story of Mary and Martha where Jesus praises Mary over Martha for her focus on him. The author discusses Mary and Martha as symbolic of the busy lives modern people lead, highlighting the need to take time out like Mary.
