In this paper we propose to verify the disinhibition syndrome (PDC) in a sample of 186 adolescents (aged between 13 and 22), 141 men and 45 women, from Spain, Mexico and El Salvador. For that purpose, we have compared an adolescent population who has committed some criminal offence, with students from normalized schools. We found significative differences between the two groups, concluding that the PDC is a useful construct in order to characterize offender or not offender adolescents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
