Abstract
- The article discusses on the use of evidence-based surgery in Canada. Such type of surgery was regarded as conscientious, explicit and the judicious practice of the recent best evidence in deliberating the care of each patient. Evidence-based surgery led to the creation of Evidence Based Reviews in Surgery (EBRS) which was initiated by a group of Canadian surgeons. EBRS is an Internet journal club that teach vital evaluation skills to general surgery residents and practicing general surgeons.
