Abstract

The article presents photography tips. The goal of cropping, the author claims, is to improve an already taken photo with good subject matter, appealing lighting, and proper focus. Its main effect is a new composition. When framing a print, the mat can cover up some of the photo itself. For slides, there are slide mounts with smaller or different shapes than the original openings. One way to change the composition is by cropping off the left side of an image.
