The article reports on the development of an artificial pancreas device that comprise of a glucose monitor and an insulin pump. The artificial pancreas has been developed to monitor the rising glucose levels in preventing the risk of diabetes. Moreover, the artificial device can also dispense glucagon to raise blood sugar glucose in preventing hypoglycemia.
