Abstract

The article presents arboriculture and urban forestry research into temperature fluctuation in an eighteen-year-old Fraxinus pennsylvanica variant subintegerrima and its surrounding environment at the Lisle, Illinois-based Morton Arboretum. Temperature fluctuation measurements were made in the soil, sod, canopy, mulch, and soil surface with HOBO Pro temperature sensors.
