Abstract
- Information about several papers discussed during the municipal wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) conference in Newton, Massachusetts in June 2007 is presented. City administrators, Wi-Fi proponents and information technology vendors give emphasis on the hype behavior of municipal WI-FI networks in the country brought by a combination of economic, political and technical issues. MuniWireless LLC founder Esme Vos specifically regards the increasing initiative, deployment plans and used of Wi-Fi networks.
