Oranges and Regions.

The article examines the political conditions in Ukraine. In April 2007, President Viktor Yushchenko ordered the dissolution of parliament and scheduled new elections for May 27, 2007. The government, led by the majority Party of Regions, attempted to deny funding for the elections and reappointed Serhii Kivalov to head the Central Election Commission. Predictions of the elections are discussed as well as the potential impact on each of the political parties.
