Abstract
- The article reports that Boeing took delivery of all the large fuselage assemblies for the 787 at Payne Field and quickly transferred them next door to the new jet's final assembly line at the company's wide-body headquarters in Everett, Washington. All shipments are carried by converted 747-400 passenger aircraft whose fuselages have been enlarged to three times their normal diameter.
