Abstract

The strenght of love and eroticism is present in the beginning of the classical theatre. Later, the Cristianism and the Neoplatonic ideals stimulated by Leon Hebreo and Marsilio Ficino establish a new period in which Lope writes his theater. Love is the central column in Lope's work. It improves young lovers and they are enriched by it. Lope's theater is built by love, the great architect of this theater. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
