Abstract
- The article presents a study chronic urticaria caused by Hymennolepis nana in a 12-year-old adopted Bolivian girl living in Italy since 1997. Diagnostic routine tests for chronic urticaria showed the presence of tape worms in the child's stomach. The infection was treated with praziquantel at a single dose of 1 gram per ounce during a recovery regimen.
