LA FORMACIÓN AMBIENTAL POR COMPETENCIA EN EL PERFIL GEÓLOGO-MINERO-METALÚRGICO.

To guarantee the environmental forming from the educational perspective presupposes to confront the challenge of assuming alternative models that allow to change the attitudes, and the individual and collective behavior, and to analyze the incompatibility among the existent human values and those required values to face the development in a sustainable way. This work obeys to the necessity of forming a geological-mining-metallurgical professional who knows how to behave themselves with knowledge of the environment, who makes technical proposals according to the sustainable development. This professional should be flexible and transcendent. This work is centered in the inadequacies that are manifested in the professional performance of the graduated of this profile. As a result of the work, a model of environmental forming for the geological-mining-metallurgical profile has been elaborated, on the base of environmental competence for sustainable development, which contributes to the improvement of the engineer's professional acting.
