Abstract

The article contemplates on the worldwide prevalence of childhood attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The author stresses that a uniform prevalence rate worldwide shows that ADHD is not caused by the avarice of American psychiatric profession or by permissive Western culture. It has been noted that geographical variation will not offer fresh clues to the causation of ADHD.
