Abstract
- The article reports on several violent attacks carried out across Iraq on May 6, 2007. In the attacks, more than 50 Iraqi civilians, eight soldiers and a journalist were killed. The soldiers and journalist were killed when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Diyala Province. Of the attacks, the most violent was one occurred in a fruit and vegetable market in south-west Baghdad. A suicide bomber blew up his truck in the market, killing 35 people.
