Abstract

The article describes the breeding lines of the crisphead lettuce cultivar with combined resistance to both corky root and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV) and adaptation to the major lettuce production areas on the central coast of California. It cites that the breeding lines were originated from crosses between cultivars Salina 88, Glacier and Misty Day. It states that the breeding lines have medium dark green outer leaves that are similar to Salinas 88.
