Rapid Screening of Gold Catalysts by Chemiluminescence-Based Array Imaging.

The article reports on a study for evaluating and screening catalysts based on the chemiluminescence (CL) performance of catalytic reactions. Researchers evaluated the CL responses of carbon-monoxide (CO) oxidation on oxide-supported gold catalysts and correlated the CL features with the catalytic activity for the CO conversion, which enabled the development of a new CL-based imaging method for indication of the feasibility of a simple, rapid, and parallel screening for the catalytic activity.
