Abstract: The article reports on the explosion of a bomb by a suicide car bomber near a bus station in Karbala, Iraq on April 14, 2007. 36 people were killed in the explosion. Hospital officials reported that 168 persons, including 44 women and 11 children, were injured. Meanwhile, five Iraqi police officers were wounded in a clash with gunmen in Diyala Province, Iraq.
