Abstract
- The article reports on the studies about styrene, an industrial chemical which is known to damage auditory structures and functions in the rat. The studies were carried out with Long-Evans rats. It was found that the-same amount of styrene-induced hearing loss can be found by using concentrations approximately 200 parts per million lesser in active rats than in sedentary rats.
