Making the paper: Jiandie Lin.

The article focuses on the results of the study conducted by Jiandie Lin of the Life Sciences Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor which wanted to determine the relationship between the metabolic clock and circadian clock. Lin studied a protein know as PGC-1 which is a master regulator of energy-producing mitochondria. Based on the results, circadian clock was thought to affect physiology by downstream output mechanisms.
