Abstract
- The article reports that Pakistan remains the eye of war on terrorism in the U.S. It states that a majority in British custody following the attempt to hijack and destroy U.S-bound airliners are either Pakistanis or of Pakistani descent. However, nearly six Pakistani army brigades have battled an ethnic Baloch nationalist group, led by a veteran politician cum tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti. The group demands provincial autonomy under the 1973 constitution and an end to economic inequity.
