Abstract
- This article offers tips for engaging learners in historical inquiry. It describes ways on how teachers or library media specialists should introduce historical inquiry. It discusses the importance of questioning in historical inquiry. It also mentions the role of organizers in helping students focus on documents and photographs and ask relevant and thoughtful questions. A lesson requiring students to examine historical documents is presented.
