Abstract
- Investigates the susceptibility of dioxins to dissolved organic carbon (DOC)-mediated dechlorination reactions using 1,2,3,4,6,7,9-heptachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin, Aldrich humic acid and polymaleic acid as model compounds. Effect of electron shuttling capacity of sediment DOC on the fate of dioxins in part through dechlorination reactions.
