Abstract
- The article reports on a marketing strategy for Diesel underwear had on the company's website. Diesel created an ad in which two young girls steal an underwear collection, kidnap the underwear sales manager and lock themselves in a hotel room. The ad was streamed onto Diesel.com and was used as part of a 15 minutes of megabyte fame campaign which allowed site viewers to participate in the kidnapping. The campaign caused site viewership to increase from one million per month to five million.
