Abstract
- The author reflects on the role of joint history textbook projects from Korea and Japan in alleviating the conflict over Notheast Asian history. The author cites that the government plays an important role in the dissemination of the textbooks. The author suggests that an outside organization with authority should be involved in the project. He adds that the project incorporates the efforts of intellectuals from both countries and can correct the views of the youth about their history.
