Abstract

In this article the author discusses the state of Nigeria, the article written in the wake of the 2007 elections he considered deeply flawed. While noting that Nigeria is statistically the second richest nation in Africa, the author describes the corruption and disorder that plague the country. He declares that Nigeria should abandon democracy in favor of a strong ruler who can provide order.
