Abstract
- The article reports on the battle of Thailand against air pollution. In order to keep the dust down, the government of Thailand enacted measures like washing the streets. Buddhist crematoriums were urged to change from wood-burning pyres to electric incinerators. The result of the battle is that the average levels of small dust particles have been cut by 47 percent.
