Abstract

The article addresses issues regarding the dilemma over road congestion in Canada. According to the author, road congestion issues has risen to the top of the agenda in the country's cities, because it resonates with various arrays of constituencies which experience the effects of clogged roads on daily basis. He reveals that the problem over road congestion and car dependence have reflected the general recognition that mobility shapes the growth, livability, and prosperity of the country's cities. He further points out that in solving the worsening traffic congestion, the increasing complex commuting pattern will require an integrated program that support the wide range of program options .
